The Rabbit at Play
by Bethany Quintal
See how he frolics and skips at play!
Before he knows it, its near the set of the day.
Then comes the fox so sly and so quick,
With his tongue on his lips he takes one last lick.
The fox comes with his coat as red as fire,
But soon the rabbit leaps into the briar.
I guess rabbit has a great hunch,
To write a story about a fox who lost his lunch.
